All the machine embroidery on this quilt is gorgeous. I have managed to get 5 blocks(embroidery) finished. You have to place templates and then embroidery around them. It is a nice technique and easier to do then I thought before I started. This is a block of the month (6 months). Another quilter and I are each making one and our goal is to be finished shortly after we receive our final kit. I am behind already, but hope to catch up by the end of September.

I have never heard of an embroidery block of the month but that looks beautiful. I did a lot of embroidery until I was found by quilting. Now I embroidery occasionally but not as constantly as I used to. It is fun though to have an embroidery machine going while I am either piecing or doing the machine/fusible applique. I'm about 100 miles NE of Mobile: do you ever get over there?
