Stash Report .................& Sharie's News

For those of you who follow my blog, you know that my husband has been very ill.  On March 30th he passed away.  My blessing is that he is no longer in pain or fear.  I have my moments, but I am doing well.  My daughter came from Wisconisn and my son from Washington and my other son lives near me.  I was grateful for their company and that I might help them through this difficult time.  My sister arrives next Saturday from Iowa.  She will stay for 2 weeks.  It will be nice to have her here.  Because my husband knew so many people throughout the country, we put obituary/memorial on a blog.  If you wish to look at it ..............http://www.jamespaulsonmemorial.typepad.com

I have not quilted except for last Thursday evening.  My quilting friends kidnapped me and took me to the shop to sew.  It was so nice to be with them again.  I am not sure when I will actually get back to doing a lot of quilting, but I expect that after my sister leaves, I will get back in the groove.  Jim would want me to sew, sew, sew.  He loved my quilts and was so proud that I made them.

  2. I am so very sorry for your loss. It is good to hear that your family & friends are helping out in these difficult times. Hopefully the knowledge that your husband loved your quilts, will get you back to sewing - as quilt therapy and help you dealing with your loss. Best wishes from Michigan.
